Does anyone else love white choc as much as me?! ( probably not possible) I had to make a healthy version because it is just too tempting ( hello subway white choc and macadamia cookies.) These brownies are packed with whole food ingredients, they are high protein with the sneaky chickpeas which give them a doughy , brownie texture and veggie hit!! Please make them you won’t regret it- best served warm with gooey, drizzled white choc sauce (YUM)

Ingredients

Brownies

1 cup tinned chickpeas

1/3 cup almond meal

1/3 cup buckwheat flour

3 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 cup chopped macadamias

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 egg (sub for flax egg for vegan )

1 tsp vanilla

1 heaped tsp baking powder

salt (sprinkle)

White Choc Sauce

1/4 cup cacao butter

1 tbsp macadamias

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp tahini

2 tbsp hot water

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. In a bowl combine brownie ingredients and mix or blend if you have a blender

  3. Place into a baking tin and bake for 20-25 mins

  4. Combine sauce ingredients together and blend till smooth ( the macadamias should become like a nut butter and mix with other ings)

  5. Drizzle over brownies and eat! (best served warm)
