Turmeric Oats
Ingredients
1/2 cup oats ( can also use chia )
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk ( I love coconut, almond or hemp)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp maca powder ( optional, great for hormones and caramel flavour )
Toppings: frozen berries, nut butter, cacao nibs, pepitas
Method
Heat a medium saucepan with your oats, milk, water, cinnamon, turmeric and vanilla
Stir gently and allow to warm and slowly thicken and combine. Make sure you are on a medium heat as a high heat will dry it out easily
Top with your superfood goodies of choice and enjoy!
