Chickpeas are an amazing snack as they are high in protein and delicious on their own or in salads! Roasting them with some yummy flavours and superfoods has become my go to snack lately, especially as the weather becomes cooler and you crave those warm oven roasted crunchy yummies. Have these on their own as they are bursting with flavour or add them to salads, or even better a warm winter curry!

 

sriracha chickpeas

Ingredients

1 can chickpeas

pinch S & P

1 tbsp sriracha

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp olive oil





Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Mix everything in a bowl until chickpeas are coated well with all ingredients , best done with your hands

  3. Lay on a baking tray lined with baking paper

  4. Bake for about 40 minutes or until properly golden and crispy
