Ingredients
2-3 cups thinly sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp avocado or olive oil
generous sprinkle of smoked paprika ( essential for the smoky bacon flavour)
generous sprinkle of nutritional yeast
1 tbsp tamari
salt + pepper + chilli ( if you like spice)
Method
Toss mushrooms through your sauce and spices and use hands to coat thoroughly , feel free to add more if you feel it needs
Place in the air fryer at 180 for 25 minutes OR do the equivalent in an oven by laying the mushrooms on baking paper first in a tray nice and spread out. ( it may take longer in the oven so allow extra time as you want them to be as crispy as possible)
Remove when dark and crispy and enjoy as a snack, toss through a salad, on toast or share with me how you add your own spin on insta @scoopitup_
