paleo super seed crackers

I have tried to make these a few times and have never got the right consistency until now! I have actually been obsessed with these- having them as a snack, eating them with avocado and also adding them to salads has been so delicious as well. The great thing is you can add your favourite seeds and spices to suit you just make sure you allow some time to bake them as they do need a few hours in the oven so that they go nice and crispy like a cracker

TIP: this is best done with your hands to combine as you don’t want the blender to chop up all the crunchy goodies into a flour !

paleo super seed crackers

Ingredients

1 tbsp turmeric

1 tbsp chilli flakes

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp rock salt

200g sunflower seeds

60g pepitas

50g chia seeds

20g LSA

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees

  2. Mix all ingredients with 490mL water in a bowl and let sit for 20 minutes until it has absorbed the water and is nice and thick

  3. Take two trays and line with baking paper and spread mixture very thinly on each tray

  4. Bake for 2 hours

  5. Remove and gently cut into pieces

  6. Place back into the oven turned OFF, and allow to sit there and dry further, monitor them this could take another 1-2 hours. ( the more the better as you want them to dry as much as possible)
