I am a sucker for anything caramel or vanilla flavoured. These snacks are the best pick me up- high in protein, healthy fats and antioxidants ( thank you matcha!). I used the Tropeaka Vanilla protein powder blend which creates the great caramel flavour and Matcha Maiden green tea matcha powder. You can add whatever protein powder you have at home and add some extra cinnamon, maca and vanilla if it doesn’t already have a vanilla flavour. These bars will help you stay high in energy and power to smash your day!

Ingredients

6 Dates

Maca Powder 1 tsp

Matcha Powder 1/2 tsp

Salt (pinch)

Nut butter (I used ABC) 1 tsp

Protein Powder 1 scoop

Almonds 1/2 cup

Coconut Oil 1 tsp



Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender until well combined

  2. Line a baking tray and place mixture, pressing firmly until evenly spread.

  3. Set in freezer for 30 mins – 1 hour and enjoy! ( Sprinkle extra matcha powder or coconut on top to serve!)
