I made this bowl today with the new kefir range from table of plenty. I have never tried kefir before but it is becoming more and more popular because of its rich probiotic and high protein properties. ( it is a probiotic rich, fermented yoghurt/milk) I don’t love dairy so I bought the lactose free one and it actually sat in my stomach really well! This bowl was heavenly , nice and thick and cooling for Sydney’s 40 degree weather today! Try it out for a fresh, vitamin rich and probiotic full snack or meal

Ingredients

1 cup fresh mango frozen

1 cup ice

1 tsp almond butter

1 tsp hemp seeds

1/2 tsp spirulina

3-4 tbsp kefir ( add as you blend to keep it thick)

toppings of choice



Method 

  1. Blend all ingredients together, adding the kefir slowly to avoid the smoothie becoming runny

  2. Top with your fave crunchy ingredients ! I used cacao nibs, roasted cashews, blueberries, hemp seeds and buckinis
