choc hazelnut cookies

Ok so the other day I had run out of almond flour which I usually use in my cookies and had some old hazelnuts lying around so blended them up into hazelnut meal and used it as a base for the biscuits. They were sooooooo good omg. You HAVE to try! You could do this with any nut you like. Little salt and chocolate too and you have an epic combo. 


 

choc hazelnut cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup oat flour. ( or almond )

1/3 cup hazelnut meal

1/3 cup buckwheat flour

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Vanilla

pinch Salt

1 tbsp honey/maple

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp tahini

1/2 cup choc chunks 

Dark choc and roasted hazelnuts to top


Method 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Mix all ingredients together besides choc and nuts

  3. Stir through choc chunks and nuts

  4. Place into lined baking tray in desired sized balls

  5. Bake at 180 for 10-13 mins

  6. Once cool, melt your chocolate in a bowl and drizzle over cookies with leftover roasted nuts
