choc coconut easter nests

Ingredients

1 cup toasted thick coconut flakes

1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds

big pinch salt

pinch vanilla

1/2 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup cacao powder

1 tbsp maple syrup

1/4 cup cacao nibs

Easter Eggs to top ( I used loving earth)

Method

  1. Heat your coconut and seeds in a pan and toss until golden

  2. In a bowl combine your melted coconut oil, sweetener and cacao powder. If it is too thick, add more coconut oil

  3. In a large bowl mix all dry and wet ingredients together, adding in the salt and cacao nibs as well

  4. Place into muffin tins or silicone moulds

  5. Leave for 1-2 hours and then drizzle a little chocolate on each to stick on your easter egg of choice . ( Cut the egg in half if it has something exciting in the middle!)
