choc chilli cookies
Ingredients
1 egg
2 tbsp maple syrup OR natural sweetener of choice
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp vanilla
1-2 tbsp chilli flakes( 1 is for topping)
1 tbsp cayenne pepper (optional)
sprinkle of salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp coconut flour
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup chopped dark choc of choice ( I use lindt 90%)
Method
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius and line two baking trays with baking paper
Mix all wet ingredients in a blender or mixing bowl ( I find a blender whips it together better but if you only have a bowl and spoon you can use that)
Mix together dry ingredients into the wet mixture
Stir through the dark choc bits
Roll cookie dough mix into desired sized balls and press down lightly with a fork
Sprinkle chilli flakes on top of each cookie
Bake for 15 minutes
