Cauliflower Porridge

yep that’s right. Cauliflower has done it again. It proved it could be a pizza and now it’s become oats too. Sounds weird but don’t doubt until you try ! Much like oats, they provide quite a neutral , bland flavour which is perfect for adding all your favourite flavours and textures to. I have put some of my faves below but feel free to add whatever you like- the more toppings the better 

 

Cauliflower Porridge

Ingredients 

1 cup cauliflower rice

1/2 cup milk of choice

1/2 cup water

pinch cinnamon

pinch vanilla

Toppings eg berries, tahini, cacao nibs, flaxseeds, hemp seeds, granola

Method

  1. In a pot, place vanilla, cinnamon, cauliflower rice and liquid. Stir until all the liquid is absorbed ( about 5 -8 minutes)

  2. Place into a bowl and top with all your fave goodies and enjoy
