Almond Butter Açai Bowl

There’s nothing tastier than a good acai bowl for brekky. I often find them to be very rich and many stores will overload them with lots of unnecessary sugars. This recipe is light, blended with coconut water and leaves plenty of room to top with all your favourites such as goji berries, banana, coconut yoghurt, nut butter, cacao nibs, chia and more!

 

Almond Butter Açai Bowl

Ingredients

2 packets of unsweetened frozen acai ( I use Amazonia brand)

1 frozen banana

½ cup coconut water

Toppings can include:

Berries, banana

Coconut yoghurt

Crushed almonds

Chia seeds

Shredded coconut

Nut butter

Method

  1. Blend everything until nice and thick , adding coconut water slowly for consistency

  2. Top with your faves and enjoy !
